On this day in 2020, the Supreme Court ruled that Title VII protects LGBTQ+ employees from discrimination. A historic victory for workplace equality!


Question of the case - Does Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits against employment discrimination “because of . . . sex” encompass discrimination based on an individual’s sexual orientation?
