The LGBT SHC Foundation launches under the experienced leadership of Barbara Heisler of OBD Coaching who during her thirty-year career in the not-for-profit, development and education fields has lead many agencies to self sustaining strategies to serve their communities.
The LGBT Senior Housing and Care Vision is to participate in creating a world in which LGBTQ+ older adults are treated with the care and dignity they deserve in all healthcare, service and housing environments.
The LGBT Senior Housing and Care Mission is to advance, encourage and support the training and education of individuals and agencies working within healthcare, residential settings, patient settings, education and care support services by providing research, training, education for those serving the adult LGBTQIAAP+ community.
