Gender X Passports Are Coming!

2022 The New Year Brings New Passports for Gender X

Applications for gender X passports will begin in early 2022, the US State Department has announced. It will now be possible for non binary and intersex persons to more accurately reflect their gender identity on the primary piece of identification a US citizen or resident can obtain. No medical certification is required to select X as ones gender on the passport application.

Thank you to President Biden for following through on another commitment made to the LGBTQ+ community.
