National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NGMHAAD)—a national observance dedicated to combating HIV stigma and promoting testing, prevention, and treatment among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM). This year, we recognize both progress and persistent disparities: ● New HIV infections among gay and bisexual men have decreased by approximately 10% overall, with a 31% drop among young MSM (ages 13–24).. ● Yet, inequities remain stark—67% of new HIV infecti

Black communities—especially Black LGBTQ+ individuals—continue to be disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS. This day is a call to action for awareness, testing, prevention, and treatment.
