Omnisexual Visibility Day (July 6)

Today marks Omnisexual Visibility Day, a time to acknowledge and uplift omnisexual individuals, who are attracted to people regardless of gender. Historically, societies have often forced a narrow understanding of sexuality, while omnisexuality challenges these binary limitations. However, the struggle for recognition has not been easy. In the face of mounting political challenges, particularly during the Trump administration, the LGBTQ+ community—especially those with lesser-known identities

like omnisexuals—has faced increased legal hurdles, from attempts to erase gender-inclusive policies to restrictions on LGBTQ+ protections. The work isn’t over. On this day, we not only celebrate omnisexual individuals, but also emphasize the importance of community strength and standing united in the face of power, demanding full legal recognition, equality, and justice for all sexual orientations.
