Non-Binary Awareness Week (July 13-19)

During Non-Binary Awareness Week, we raise our voices in solidarity with non-binary individuals, whose gender identities transcend the traditional categories of male and female. This week, we not only honor non-binary lives but reflect on the historical erasure of these identities, particularly in the face of harmful political agendas.

In the aftermath of the Trump administration’s rollbacks of LGBTQ+ rights, non-binary individuals have found themselves in legal limbo, battling for the right to self-identify and secure protections in healthcare, employment, and education. The strength of the non-binary community in the face of adversity is a testament to the power of resistance and the importance of collective action. Now, more than ever, it’s crucial for us to amplify their voices and stand with them, pushing back against the powerful forces seeking to undermine their existence and their rights.
