Asexual Awareness Week, October 25-31
🌟 October 25-31, 2026 marks Ace Week — an international observance dedicated to

raising awareness, educating about asexual and asexual-spectrum identities, building community, and advocating for inclusion.Â
Though still misunderstood or erased in many spaces, asexual people and those on the ace spectrum are persons who experiences little to no sexual attraction to others, whodeserve visibility, respect, and safety. Misconceptions abound — from erasure in LGBTQ+ narratives to medical skepticism and exclusion in dating platforms.Â
In today’s moment, where identity politics and debates around sexual norms are increasingly politicized, Ace Week is a vital reminder: valid identities don’t need explanation — they need affirmation.

This Ace Week, we invite you to:
• Share ace and aromantic stories (especially from elders) • Use ace-inclusive language and pronouns • Challenge myths about sex, romance, and identity • Support ace community organizations and their outreach
Let’s work toward a more expansive, inclusive community where no identity is invisible. 🖤🤍
