Are you ready for PRIDE?
June Pride Month is just weeks away. Are you ready to enjoy the festivities as a community member and ally? There are many ways to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride. You may look online for events in your community that you might participate in. You might share your Pride by hanging a rainbow flag or wearing rainbow clothes or accessories. Activities ideas include, talking to your youngsters about what LGBTQIAAP+ means (see flyer below), or baking rainbow cookies. For adults, there are plenty of great movies, music and books by and about LGBTQ+ people. For older adults at home, adult day care or living in a community, schedule LGBTQ+ comics, singers or drag entertainers, book a movie or have a speaker. Perhaps host an inclusive LGBTQ+ prom.
